Iran will investigate the poisoning of students, the country’s minister of health, Bahram Eynollahi, said on Thursday. “We have assigned a special committee to investigate this matter and this committee is comprised of the best toxicologist and university professors,” Eynollahi said. Hundreds of Iranian girls in different schools have suffered “mild poison” attacks over recent months, the health minister said in February. White House national security spokesperson John Kirby called the reports “deeply concerning” during a briefing on Thursday.
