Speaking in Langley, B.C., on Wednesday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and B.C. Premier David Eby announced that the federal government and the B.C. government reached a health care deal “in principle.” The $27-billion agreement is the first step to completing a $196-billion, 10-year health-care funding proposal that Trudeau made with Canada’s premiers last month.
