Canada to waive fees, ‘simplify’ process for Iranians to stay in Canada amid Iran unrest

Canada’s Natural Resources Minister Jonathan Wilkinson announced on Thursday that the federal government was introducing special temporary measures for Iranians in Canada who may wish to extend their stay. He said this would include waiving certain fees and “simplifying” the process for Iranians who wish to extend their temporary stay.
