The Quebec government is now putting its support behind high-speed rail service between Quebec City and Toronto. Transport Minister Geneviève Guilbault spoke to the media on Monday, saying her preference is for high-speed trains over high-frequency trains. The federal government is looking to improve service on the rail corridor and is open to the possibility of running more trains at a top speed. Global’s Tim Sargeant reports.
