Inflation: Are monopolies to blame for higher prices in Canada?

Canada plans to welcome 1.5 million immigrants over the next three years but according to a report from Desjardins, the country isn’t on track when it comes to building housing. The Canadian cannabis industry is in peril according to business leaders, owners, and producers in the legal weed space. And after months of expert testimony and as the country continues to deal with persistent inflation, the Senate has released a report that says the lack of competition across Canada is to blame for higher prices.
