Manitoba Justice Minister, Kelvin Goertzen, commented on the release of the final report from the Public Order Emergency Commission on Friday. Goertzen commended the Manitoba RCMP and the Winnipeg police for being two of the few agencies in Canada that did not resort to force when negotiating the removal of protests from the Emerson border and the Manitoba legislative building.
