U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Michael S. Regan promised East Palestine, Ohio residents on Thursday that the railway company involved in a Feb. 3 train derailment with toxic chemicals will be held “accountable,” following a site visit of the impacted areas. “We are going to get through this as a team. And at the same time, we are absolutely going to hold Norfolk Southern accountable — and I can promise you that,” Regan said.
