The Ukrainian city of Kherson was the only regional capital to be captured by the Russians in the first days of last year’s invasion. But in November, the Ukrainian military took the city back – thanks in part to an underground resistance movement that was led by ordinary civilians. Jeff Semple reports from Kherson.
