Russia’s Defence Ministry said on Monday it had taken the settlement of Krasna Hora near Bakhmut, which has seen fierce fighting between Russian and Ukrainian troops. The announcement from spokesperson Igor Konashenkov comes a day after the co-founder of Russia’s Wagner Group — a mercenary group — also made a similar claim.
