Report says more supports needed for Indigenous people in B.C. jails

A new report says B.C. needs to provide better supports for Indigenous people in corrections when it comes to mental health and addictions. B.C.’s auditor general looked at 92 files of Indigenous people with issues of mental health and substance use incarnated in the province’s jails.
