UN Regional Humanitarian Coordinator for the Syrian Crisis Muhannad Hadi spoke about the efforts to deliver humanitarian aid in the wake of Monday’s 7.8 magnitude earthquake. He said the road leading from Gaziantep to the transshipment point at the border between Turkey and Syria was damaged by the quake but is expected to reopen in the next day, allowing cross-border aid shipments to resume.
