Conservatives grill Trudeau on former McKinsey head connection ahead of committee appearance

Speaking during question period on Wednesday, Conservative MP Garnett Genuis demanded to know whether Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ever asked Dominic Barton, a former ambassador and past director of consulting firm McKinsey, about his work with Purdue pharma and opioid sales. Trudeau retaliated by calling out Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre’s approach to harm reduction and accusing Conservatives of digging into “random conspiracy theories.”
