Speaking to reporters on Sunday, Toronto Mayor John Tory expressed his condolences after the passing of former Mississauga mayor Hazel McCallion. “[She] was remarkable,” Tory said, recalling her decades-long career as well as the last time that they met. “It’s a great loss, but she at the same time lived a great life.”
