Tyre Nichols death: Family attorney applauds charges brought against 5 former police officers

Ben Crump, the attorney for the family of Tyre Nichols, applauded the charges brought against five former Memphis police officers in the death of the 29-year-old. He went on to say that by looking at the speed at which the officers were terminated and “how swiftly” charges were brought, “we want to proclaim this is the blueprint going forward for any time, any officers — whether they be Black or white — will be held accountable.”
