Kelowna’s thermal shelter pilot project aimed a keeping people warm

The City of Kelowna is taking a page out of Montreal’s book as it tries to find ways to keep homeless people warm during cold snaps. It’s running a new thermal shelters pilot project. Wednesday the media got a close up look at the foam pods the city will be distributing when the temperature plummets.
