Former home of Nova Scotia’s first Black doctor granted heritage status

A house in the north end of Halifax is being recognized for its historical significance. It’s where the city’s first Black doctor opened his own private clinic after being unable to work at the hospital. And that clinic was invaluable following the Halifax explosion. Alicia Draus reports.
