San Mateo County Sheriff Christina Corpus said Monday that at least seven people had been killed in two separate locations in Half Moon Bay, Calif. She said deputies were dispatched to a report of a shooting and found four victims deceased at the first location, then found three additional victims at a separate location. An eighth person was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Corpus said the suspect was later found and taken into custody.
