Single mother of 2 living downtown Toronto on rising inflation: ‘I’m struggling a lot’

Making ends meet as a single mother is difficult enough, but over the past few years, the COVID-19 pandemic and high inflation have made things even tougher for Helena, a single mother based in Toronto. As part of Global News’ “Out of Pocket” series, we are looking at how inflation is impacting Canadian families living coast to coast. Caryn Lieberman talks to Helena about how she is coping with making ends meet amid inflation.
