Inspector Tim Arseneault, with the Manitoba RCMP Major Crimes Unit, provided an update on Thursday regarding a string of five bank robberies across southern Manitoba. Inspector. Arseneault said a suspect was apprehended in Morden, Manitoba. He’s alleged to have used the threat of a firearm during the robberies and wore a surgical mask. The suspect was apprehended with the help of the public after investigators followed up on a license plate number. Investigators are still working to determine if others were involved.
