Canada travel chaos: Transport committee calls treatment of passengers ‘unacceptable’

Parliamentarians voted on Monday to address the holiday travel chaos that left Canadians stranded at airports by holding special meetings with witnesses, which will begin on Thursday. Liberal committee chair Peter Schiefke, who made the request, called the treatment of Canadian travellers over the holidays “unacceptable” and said that “Canadians deserve better.”
