Jennie Arceno, a B.C. nurse who was trained in the Philippines, told reporters Monday that it took her years and cost her thousands of dollars to become a nurse in B.C. after training overseas. She said the new process will be much easier and faster and will help ease the stress and financial pressure of coming to B.C. and working in a job they want.
