The person who dressed the Sex Pistols, synonymous with 1970s punk rock, U.K. fashion designer Vivienne Westwood died on Thursday at the age of 81. “The death of Dame Vivienne Westwood is, of course, a huge loss not just to the British fashion industry but the global fashion industry as well. I think her influence over the last 50, 60 years really cannot be overestimated,” fashion writer Sasha Wilkins said.
