For the past few months, the BC Children’s Hospital has had to shuffle staff around and scale back surgeries as it tries to keep up with the surge of sick kids coming in with respiratory illnesses. As Aaron McArthur reports, the hospital’s head of surgery says they’ve had to prioritize, which means many elective surgeries have been postponed. Keith Baldrey has a closer look at the stats.
