Indigenous people more prone to rare autoimmune liver disease, often misdiagnosed: Research

Health Matters December 15: An Edmonton specialist is co-leading a network of Canadian researchers studying primary biliary cholangitis. The rare autoimmune liver disease appears to be more prevalent in Indigenous populations and can be misdiagnosed as being alcohol-related. Su-Ling Goh reports.
