Chief Science Advisor of Canada Dr. Mona Nemer said on Wednesday that evidence shows COVID-19 is capable of becoming a chronic illness, known as long-COVID with symptoms ranging from muscle pain, shortness of breath and extreme fatigue to brain fog, and even heart palpitations.
