Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland spoke Friday about the significant strains on the health-care system, saying Canadians are “frustrated and frightened” and that governments need to find solutions to the problem. She said the federal and provincial governments need to work together to ease the burden on hospitals and other health-care facilities.
