Families, Children and Social Development Minister Karina Gould said Thursday she’s very confident that all provinces, with one possible exception, would meet the end-of-year deadline for a 50 per cent reduction in child-care fees as outlined in the federal government’s child-care agreement with the provinces and territories. Gould said Manitoba has indicated they would meet the deadline ‘very early’ in the New Year.
