Jasraj Singh Hallan, the Conservative shadow minister for finance reacted after Auditor General Karen Hogan delivered her report on the federal government’s delivery of pandemic benefits on Tuesday. “Wasteful spending due to a lack of controls, as identified by the auditor general, has contributed to the cost of living crisis we see today,” Singh Hallan said. “At least $32 billion in overpayments and suspicious payments that require further investigation,” he added.
