Conservative MP Blake Richards and Veterans Affairs Minister Lawrence MacAulay debated Monday on how many veterans had reported having medically-assisted dying discussed with them. MacAulay stood firm on previous numbers of four cases involving one case manager, which he said was “totally unacceptable.” Meanwhile, Richards said there were more than just four, including one veteran who allegedly came forward and MacAulay “did nothing.”
