Enthusiasts of cold-water swimming opened the winter season in the Siberian city of Omsk on Sunday in the Irtysh River. “It is like a body on the verge of life and death and then after you get out, the body appreciates you with hormones and feelings that you did a great job,” said Andrei, a cold water swimmer with 12 years of experience.
