Russian foreign minister accuses Pope Francis of being ‘un-Christian,’ NATO of fanning South China Sea tensions

Speaking to the media on Thursday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called recent comments on Ukraine by Pope Francis “un-Christian” and hard to understand. Lavrov also accused NATO of whipping up tensions near China in a way that posed risks for Russia.
