Prime Minister visits James Smith Cree Nation, commits to Indigenous safety, healing projects

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Monday during his visit to James Smith Cree Nation, the government will commit $62.5 million towards Indigenous safety and healing projects. Trudeau said that this is an opportunity to work with leaders and the community to design a working framework not based on a colonial system.
