B.C. premier announces province will maintain current model of autism funding

B.C. Premier David Eby announced Friday the province will continue individualized funding for children with an autism diagnosis instead of phasing it out in 2025 and moving to a hub model, as had been previously announced. Eby says there were serious concerns from advocates and families about the changes, and officials plan to work with groups to redesign the programs to provide the services needed.
