Nerissa Quewezance, accompanied by her sister Odelia, stood together for the first time in 18 years outside of the Yorkton Courthouse on Thursday. Nerissa said she appreciates the support they’ve received from the Indigenous community and leaders. The sisters have maintained their innocence after they were convicted of second-degree murder in 1993.
