Feds pledge $1.6 billion to improve infrastructure as part of new climate strategy

Emergency Preparedness Minister Bill Blair announced on Thursday an investment of $1.6 billion as part of the federal government’s new climate strategy, which would include a focus on improving disaster response and protecting Canadians from extreme heat and health effects.
