Former Surrey mayor acquitted on charge of public mischief

Doug McCallum walked out of court vindicated. Judge Reg Harris ruled that “it defies logic that Mr. McCallum would deliberately mislead the police and then immediately suggest they get evidence.” Harris also said he was satisfied that McCallum’s foot was run over. Catherine Urquhart reports.
