Colorado Springs Mayor John Suthers described his meeting on Monday with one of the two “heroes” who stopped a gunman from continuing his shooting spree inside an LGBTQ nightclub. He said Richard Fierro was “so humble” about his heroic actions and told him, “I was trying to protect my family.”
