Executive Director of the Christmas Cheer Board Winnipeg (CCBW) Shawna Bell spoke on Tuesday about the high demand for hampers this year. Bell said the board has received 80,000 calls for holiday hampers so far. She added that the board is reaching out to other organizations to offset the need and satisfy as many calls for assistance as possible. Donations from the public will be accepted as every single little bit helps.
