French village holds 1st ‘No Stone Left Alone’ event for Canadian soldier buried in Normandy

A Canadian program that connects a younger generation to this country’s war heroes is expanding. A small village in northern France held its first “No Stone Left Alone” event this month. Our Europe Bureau Chief Crystal Goomansingh reports on how a Canadian soldier was honoured at his gravesite in Normandy in a very Canadian way.
