Canada’s Chief of the Defence Staff Gen. Wayne Eyre reflected on Remembrance Day on Friday, saying as the country faces a changing world he was proud of those serving and have served in uniform. He went on to discuss challenges facing the Canadian Armed Forces, saying they were facing an “increasingly dangerous world” and was worried about the ability to respond and “sense of urgency” needed to rebuild the military to face the world “characterized by confrontation.”
