Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister said on Tuesday she recognized that she was a “very privileged person” in response to criticism over her comments made on The West Block about cutting her family’s Disney+ subscription amid Canada’s rising cost of living. “I really recognize that it is not people like me, people who have my really good fortune who are struggling the most in Canada today,” she said.
