Between Kelowna, Penticton and Vernon, there are well over 300 people sleeping outside in the cold

The blizzard-like conditions today making it very tough for people who are experiencing homelessness in Kelowna and surrounding area. As we’ve been reporting for the past week, there is still no winter shelter to bring people inside and away from the potentially deadly weather elements and as Klaudia Van Emmerik is finding out, there may not be an emergency shelter opening this year at all.
