Former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Bottoms appeared on CBS’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday, just days ahead of the U.S. midterm elections. Addressing the Democrats’ struggle to communicate their policy wins to the public, she said, “There’s been a lot of misinformation flooding the airwaves. We see it not just on television, but we’re seeing it through YouTube, we’re seeing it on other social media platforms… We can’t have people so discouraged that they think their votes don’t matter.”
