Canadian Minister of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Sean Fraser said in his estimation the problem facing Canada is “simple: we need more people” in reference to the ongoing labour shortage impacting parts of the country. Canadian industries are facing a significant labour shortage, with about one million job vacancies across the country as of this writing.
