A prestigious international award was handed out in the U.K. to B.C.’s 442 Transport and Rescue Squadron. Members of the Comox-based unit were in London to accept the honour for their efforts to evacuate more than 311 people, 26 dogs and one cat, stranded in Agassiz after landslides devastated the area in November of last year.
