Paul Pelosi, the husband of U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, was “violently assaulted” in his home early Friday morning in San Francisco and was transported to hospital after police apprehended the suspect. Police Chief Bill Scott said the motive was not known at this time, but the suspect is facing charges of elder abuse, attempted homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, and several other felonies.
