Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Friday at the 27th Triennial Congress of Ukrainian Canadians in Winnipeg that the government of Canada will begin issuing fiver-year Ukrainian Sovereignty Bonds. The Prime Minister announced that proceeds from the bonds will go directly to Ukraine channeled through the International Monetary Fund. Trudeau added “we want to give all Canadians a chance to directly support Ukraine.”
