Darrell Brooks, the man who killed six people and injured dozens of others after driving his vehicle into the city of Waukesha’s annual Christmas parade, was found guilty of 76 charges on Wednesday — which included six counts of first-degree intentional homicide. David Sorenson, the husband of Virginia who was a victim of the attack, spoke after the verdict and said that “justice was served.” He went on to thank those involved in the case and the jury for their verdict.
