The Contact North network of online learning centres started in Thunder Bay in 1986, and has made its way to Northumberland County.
The network specializes in access to education, training and other resources for those in rural, remote and northern communities.
Access is free thanks to full funding by the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities, and a special open house on October 27 will allow Cobourg residents to see what’s on offer.
Teresa Kaszuba heard all the details from education and training advisor Chloe Craig.
