In his mayoral victory speech in Vaughan, Ont. on Monday, Steven Del Duca said that the night was giving him a trip down “memory lane,” just months after his party was defeated and he failed to win a seat in June’s provincial election. Thanking people for their support as the crowd chanted his name, he added that the city has been his home for him and his family for over 36 years.
